We want to provide an important update regarding visa processing times at the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in San Francisco.
Processing delays are continuing, and approval times are now extending beyond 15+ business days in many recent cases. Applications that would normally be reviewed within approximately 5 business days are currently remaining under review for significantly longer periods.
At this time, there is no official timeline for when processing speeds will return to normal. These extended review periods are directly impacting overall turnaround times for Chinese visa services handled through the San Francisco consulate. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
